The Welsh Coastal path was opened in May 2012 and runs for 1,400km (870 miles) following the coastline of Wales from Chepstowin in the south to Queensferry in the north. About 20% of the walk is on roads.
In 2011 National Geographic magazine voted the route the World's second best coastal destination and is Offa's Dyke is followed in addition to the coastal path almost the entire route around Wales can be walked.

I've walked have been beautiful but sometimes precarious; this is not a walk for anyone who's afraid of heights!
