It was still raining the
next day when we woke up and we could hear the wind from inside so we waited
until about eight to set off so at least it was a little lighter and we had
more of a chance to see where the arrows were.
It rained on and off all
day but the path was a little bit easier to navigate as there weren’t as many
puddles to go around.
The three of us had talked
about how we hadn’t had any tortilla at all on this Camino and so that was what
we ordered when we arrived at a bar. We didn’t get a tortilla but instead an omelette
each which was nice and warm and still slightly runny in the middle with a hunk
of bread each as well so we made lovely omelette sandwiches.
We arrived in Sillede and
went to the private albergue there and got a room with three beds in for me and
Becky (the German girl went off to find a hotel). It was cold but there was an
oil filled radiator in the room which got things warm pretty quickly.
