Bilbo's journey, in comparison seems to be quite short at 950 miles, 1530 kilometers, from the Shire to the Lonely Mountain (And some of that was by pony)

'The Walk' is a 2015 film about the 1974 French high-wire artist Philippe Petit's walk between the Twin Towers of the World Trade center which he did back and forth six times - each time across is 140 feet or 42.7 meters making a distance of 512.4 meters or 0.318 miles walked in total.
'A Walk in the Woods' is a 2015 film adapted from Bill Bryson's book of the same name and details his and his friend Stephen Katz's hike along the Appalachian Trail although they only manage to hike about half of it in three months (in the book they mange 800 miles or 1,300 km of its 2,200 miles or 3,500 km).

In 'The Way' Tom walks the Camino de Santiago from Saint Jean Pied du Port to Santiago which is a distance of about 450 miles or 770 kilometers
