via Francigena Credential

I have only walked 20 miles on the via Francigena (from Canterbury to the Coast after walking the Pilgrims Way) but received my Pilgrim Credential within Canterbury (for free!). There are other places that they can be found though - the Pilgrims to Rome group sells them (http://www.pilgrimstorome.org.uk/) but only to their members.

Most places seem to charge 2 euros of which half goes to them and the other euro to the central printing.



The above site also has a listing of 'all' accommodation on the via Francigena (or at least from Gran San Bernado) at http://www.visit.viefrancigene.org/en/ospitalita-turistica/ and this includes addresses, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses.


In order to receive the Testimonium you have to walk at least 140km to Rome (which would mean starting in Aquapendente)
